Started by Stacie lee on 10/12/2017 8:50pm

Hello I am new here and im very excited to hear from other people who understand what i am going through! I really don't have anyone to talk to. I had 3 discs in my neck fused in 2015, and now I'm having lower back problems, im starting to get very depressed and would love to hear from someone who knows what it's like.

Hello, Stacie lee--welcome to our Community, and thank you for your post!

We can assure you that many people here also understand the mental and emotional toll of back pain that you describe, and we hope they share their personal stories with you. The healing power of simply knowing others relate to you is amazing.

When most people think of spinal pain, they think of physical pain. But with great physical pain comes other forms of pain--namely mental and emotional pain--that deserve our attention as well. Depression and anxiety are common with chronic back pain. That's why we'd like to share our Mental and Emotional Therapy Center with you: ( Depression is Connected to Back Pain ). This link can connect you to our wealth of content on the connection between back pain and mental/emotional pain, including possible treatments you might explore with your doctor.

We hope this information helps you, and we wish you the best of luck in your back pain journey.
