Lumber Spine

Hi
I have just returned home from hospital due to dibilitating back pain.whilst in I had an MRI which showed posterior building of the L2/L3,L3/L4 and L4/ L5 also it showed haemangioma in the L3 veritable body posteriorly, also I have scolosis
Could anyone explain this to me in laymen terms please?

Hi, AlexJames03--thanks for your post! We aren't medical professionals, but we think you deserve to understand exactly what your imaging scan means. We suggest calling the provider who ordered the MRI and asking for an easily understood explanation of the findings. That may mean coming in for a separate appointment to have the physician walk through the results, but you need to understand what the findings mean to ensure you can pursue any appropriate treatment.
