Fce

Started by Mkmurphy84 on 08/07/2017 7:20am

Hello guys, I had a fusion done on my c4/c5 back in feb 2017, and I'm still experiencing a lot of pain and tingling down my left arm, and have recently had involuntary shaking in the right arm down to my hand. It seems some of my symptoms actually got worse after the surgery, I understand this can take up to 18 months to heal, I'm currently seeing a pain management dr also whom is giving pills to treat the issue but pain meds are not a permanent fix. My surgeon had me get a new MRI and it came back negative he said things looked great, though my c5/c6 had just a small bulge it wasn't anything to be worried about, he ordered a emg and a FCE. What can I expect at this fce appointment? I have lots of pain in my neck and down my shoulder blade, constantly, it doesn't go away. I was told the fce is a very physical test and very long, I'm hoping my body can handle it without giving out.
