Lower Back Pain and Coccyc pain

Hi everyone.im 56 years old and is suffering for the past 4 years with lower back pain and also sitting to long hurts.
I went to chiropracters and also accupuncture.i have also been to physio therapy and nothing seems to help.
My GP put me on Lyrica and i am sick of taking these tablets because it just make me sleep.
i had an xray taken and they discovered that i have 6 vetebrae and the last one is pinching on my coccyc causing me to have pain down my legs.i am currently also swimming twice a week and doing stretch classes at the gym.Can someone please help because my life its on hold due to this.in constant pain all the time

It sounds like you're doing a lot of things right: Swimming and stretching are both excellent ways to help strengthen your spine and reduce pain. We have an article about low back and coccyx pain that goes over some other typical non-surgical treatments you might look into ( Coccydynia is Tailbone Pain ). The article describes everything from a well-padded seat to cortisone injections as helping reduce pain.
