I've been been reading up on this subject since my car accident this is what my MRI report says prominent fatty degenerative end plate marrow changes bordering L5-S1 disc space where there is marked disc space narrowing degenerative signal loss and vacuum phenomena within disc mild grade 1 spondylolisthesis of L5-S1with an associated spondylolysis of the pars interarticularis of L5, L5-S1 again marked degeneration of the disc without true disc bulge or herniation there is foraminal distoration and stenosis associated with spondylosis and spondylolisthesis bony overgrowth on left with slight degree of stenosis L4-5 minimal disc bulging early mild facet arthropothy with some minimal fluid in facet joints with minimal posterior left sided particular edema I've been seeing a chiropractor since August twice a week I've had pain the whole time its getting progressively worse pain comes from lying flat on back, driving, walking, bending and sitting pain in lower back radiates all the way to toes mostly 1 leg at a time it does happen to both legs but not frequently I have uncontrollable twitching occasionally and occasionally I have severe ab pain when I wake up and can't urinate any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated I'm so confused!!! Thank you

my damnback

im going through the same thing, ive had a previous discectomy back on 9/2016.and i came out with worse pain than before surgery.i amseeking second and third opinions on having a alif fusion. im just afraid that more surgery will make my situation worse, all i can tell you is seek out 2nd and third opinions and make sure the doctor is highly skilled.wished i would have done that myself before i jumped into surgery
