Radio frequency ablation failed trial injections

Started by Michael B on 09/20/2016 3:34pm

I have Spondylolisthesis as a result of a failed Facet joint due to degenerative disc diesease at L4 and L5.
I just had my second trial injection to determine if I am a candidate for RAF. The first shot gave minimal relief and the second shot, yesterday, gave no relief at all. I'm awaiting a call back from my Dr. My question is has anyone else not responded to the trial shots and if so, what happened next?

I have had many failed facet joint injections and if they DO work it's only for a short time. They are not designed to last for pain control. NEVER admit they don't work cuz then you're done. You will not be a candidate for anything further. So get the facet inj and tell them it worked for a short time, like 8- 10 hours. Good luck to you....I ha ::) e been fighting this battle for YEARS.
