Pedicle Screws to short (FBS)

Started by Shortscrews7 on 12/29/2015 11:21pm

I am so angry! I recently was referred to a surgeon after the FBS, and he informed me that the screws used were to short to hold. They are all very lose and my pain in my back is terrible. I also have a fluid sac from tear that needs repaired. The new surgeon was so angry. He said "this surgeon should lose his license", I am sick and tired of cleaning up his messes. I am putting it nicely. He also said "I (he) used to not say anything to him but now I do, I tell him just what I think." He also said "the first surgeon also went a little to far up and little to far down my spine for this fusion, and in the same breath said ya that's right you should see the Porshe he drives) I wanted to cry, well I did cry. I am schedule for surgery again because the entire fused area has shifted even more(spondylolesthesis), to the extent I am to be very careful, no lifting no exercise. I am so scared it is a 5 hour surgery. How could he do this to me........the 1st surgeon. I just want to take a walk. I will be going thru months of recovery.

Has this ever happened to anyone?
