Difference of opinion. What to believe?

Started by 102073086359864... on 11/15/2015 4:54am

I was originally told that I had a syrinx from T7-T11 back in 2011, but had a MRI last week where it had grown to be visible from C7/C8 through to T9/10. The radiologist reported it being a prominent central canal rather than a pathological syrinx. I'm very confused now about what is actually going on because from my knowledge and please correct me if I'm wrong, prominent central canals don't tend to cause symptoms do they?

1) Do prominent central canals look reminiscent of a syrinx / vice versa?

2) Do prominent central canals grow in size?

Has anyone else has this problem?
