spondylolisthesis surgery

Started by 102060946186381... on 09/14/2015 4:27pm

Hello about two and a half months ago I found out I had spondylolisthesis grade 4. The Dr got me into surgery asap. Had surgery on my L5/S1 area. He put a plate on my L5/L4 on the front and I think a rod/pin on the left side in back. It's been a little over a month and almost all pain and numbness is gone but I still have a little pain in my back and numbess in my leg and foot. I'm scared that it won't get better and may get worse. My career is welding/fitter lifting very heavy pieces of steel and welding leads and such. I am on a 10lb. wright restriction from the Dr right now and work won't let me come back till I'm on a 25 or 30lb restriction or higher. Just looking for advice on where my options are from here and any helpful information on this stuff. Anything helps and Thank you in advance David.
