MRI DorsoLumbar Spine

Started by ankitjain on 06/02/2015 11:07am

Hi,

Today I have gone through an MRI Checkup Test for my Back Pain from past 4 months.

Please help me to understand my MRI Report and also possible treatment for the issues below :-

Anterior Wedge Compression Fracture involving the D12 Vertebral Body with the fracture extending to involve the Posterior vertebral Surface. Mild retropulsion of the fractured fragments is seen with obvious evidence of significant central canal compromise or spinal cord compression. No Evidence of marrow edema - suggesting chronicity / old injuriy.

Mild Superior end plate compression involving D8, D10 and D11 Vertebra.

Sacralisation of L5 vertebra is noted.

Posterior elements appear normal in signal morphology.

No marrow pathology.

The Intervertebral disc appears normal.

The Whole spinal cord shows normal signal intensity & morphology.

Pre/Paravertebral soft tissues appear normal.

Normal Sacroiliac Joints.
