Tens unit

Started by BriannasMommy on 09/01/2014 2:11pm

Has anyone here had success with a tens unit? I have to use it and rotate it all day long over my body parts because the raved about this machine. I must say it has done nothing for me so far

I have severe upper back and shoulder pain with radiculopathy. The TENS unit brings some relief but only lasts for about an hour. Sorry to hear that it's not doing much for others, either!

I have used a Tens for a while. I think it is intended for temporary pain relief. I don't think it cures anything. I use the device to help me relax then I stretch. Hamstrings, gluten, and I hang on the inversion table.

I am trying to stay away from surgery. Most of the post on this site are helping me to refrain from getting back surgery. I hope in time the stretching helps, but I am growing impatient.

I have a Tens unit... It's intention is to stop the pain signals to your brain. It's not a cure just causes some relief from the pain. I sleep with mine on for my lumbar scoliosis pain. Wearing it during the day is too cumbersome for me for the work I do. But I'm having fusion done in 6 wks bc I'm tired of dealing with this pain anymore!
