HELP ...I'm thinking of using laser treatment for pain, anyone?

Started by gailsexton on 10/15/2010 10:50am

I still have a lot of pain after fusion and laminectomy. This place locally is doing laser treatment. It is run by a DC not an MD. It would cost around between $4000 & $5000 as my insurance won't cover. I'm tempted, but scared. If it would give me any help I'd do it. They say no side effects.

hi gail :)

have you talked to your doctor about this? i'd gather all the info you can and review it with them, or review them to the website/facility so they can check personally. i'd definitely do a lot of research on the procedure as well as the organization. laser treatment can be used to treat all kinds of issues, but your professional medical doctors/specialists would be better able to address this with you. don't do anything and spend that kind of money without talking to them fully about it.
