Cervical MRI, I need help

Started by Sam227 on 09/29/2010 8:31pm

Yesterday I had a cervical MRI at 915 a.m. I was called today at 10:30 a.m. by my family physician the one who sent me for the MRI. They said I need to see a surgeon ASAP. July 22 I had back surgery throughout my days nothing was ever pressing. This is my MRI results. Impression
C4 -- 5 and C5 -- 6 levels slight mild diffuse annular Disc bulges. No focal HNP////
Compare to my lumbar spine MRIs this is nothing. But they want me to see a surgeon ASAP very confused. I Need help
whenever I use my arms at all, from my elbows through my hands on both sides are our numb I have a slight pain in my neck. At this point do not believe a to go through another spine surgery unless it was truly life or death! Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks Sam

hi sam

mild bulges dont sound bad.
you might as well see what surgeon recommends for a conservative treatment. the good thing is the mri showed no HNPs or herniations......pete
