I did not realize I haven't been here in so long. Time sure does just slip away. I was finishing up the last part of school and my Mother had heart surgery, which was quite traumatic.
I chatted with a friend on facebook who lives on the other side of the world. He also has a lipoma in his spinal cord. He shared with me what they do over there to treat the lipoma. So I am thinking about trying that also.
I have been trying to write all month. I just have not been feeling like myself. I have gotten some words down but then I accidently erased the whole thing.
When I first started going to pain management I only had to go every three months. That was great for me because the trip itself was very painful. I had settled into a routine of doctor visits and trying to adjust to my life at home.
Today is the day my family is getting together to celebrate St. Patrick's day. We are going to a parade and then back to my house for corned beef and cabbage.
March is a strange month for me. I celebrate an anniversary that is both terrible and happy at the same time. This year it will be six (6) years since I have taken narcotics!
I couldn't believe my son already is having "back problems"
My son called me and said he had to go to the ER because of back pain. Don't you know my heart dropped. They did a CAT scan and referred him to a neurosurgeon.
Before I had a spinal cord tumor (SCT), I never had a backache. I never really had any ache except labor pains. I was strong and healthy. Always played with my children.
