About Wayne M. Whalen, DC, FIACN, FICC

Dr. Wayne Whalen is a chiropractor who is Board Certified in Chiropractic Neurology. He is recognized as an expert in Workers’ Compensation and serves as an expert for the California Board of Chiropractic Examiners. His extensive experience includes 30 years in chiropractic and more than 40 years in the health care field.

Dr. Whalen graduated with his Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic’s West Campus in San Jose, CA. He is a Fellow of the International Academy of Chiropractic Neurology (FIACN) and named a Fellow of the International College of Chiropractors (FICC) by his peers.

He is the Emeritus Chair of Clinical Compass and past Chairman of the Council on Chiropractic Guidelines and Practice Parameters (CCGPP). Dr. Whalen is a past President of the California Chiropractic Association.

Dr. Whalen has received many awards and peer recognition, including Doctor of the Year. He recently received the Charles and Betty Adams Lifetime Achievement Award presented by the California Chiropractic Association acknowledging his work to improve the chiropractic profession. Furthermore, Dr. Whalen has authored and co-authored peer reviewed journal articles and guidelines, including Best Practice Guidelines for the Neck and Low Back.
