Dr. Bjarke Hansen’s primary interests are related to the musculoskeletal system. His research interests include degenerative changes in the lumbar spine and weight-bearing MRI and low back pain. He received his medical degree from the University of Copenhagen in Denmark.

Low back pain interventions that include an explanation of the pain may be sufficient to limit sick leave in patients with LBP and physically demanding jobs.
