Dr. Peter Angevine is Associate Professor of Neurological Surgery at The Spine Hospital at The Neurological Institute of New York. Dr. Angevine’s clinical focus and special interests include adult and pediatric spinal deformities, neuromuscular spinal deformities, complex revision spinal surgery, and global and regional sagittal imbalance.

Dr. Angevine received his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and completed his residency in neurological surgery at The Neurological Institute of New York, both located in New York, NY. Thereafter, he completed the prestigious complex spine fellowship at the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Washington University School of Medicine and Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Dr. Angevine’s fellowship training focused on surgical treatment of complex spinal deformities, such as adult and pediatric scoliosis and sagittal imbalance.
