About Stuart B Kahn, MD

Stuart B. Kahn, MD, is an Associate Professor in the Leni and Peter W. May Department of Orthopedics and the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. He also serves as Director of Interventional Physiatry at the Orthopaedic Spine Center in the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Khan is double board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation and pain management.

Dr. Khan specializes in helping patients achieve relief from spinal disorders using non-surgical treatments. His expertise includes epidural steroid injections, facet joint injections, and foraminal nerve blocks.

Dr. Khan received his medical degree from State University of New York (SUNY) School of Medicine at Stony Brook. Following medical school, Dr. Khan completed a transitional year internship at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ. He then continued his training as a resident in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York, NY.

A recipient of several high-profile awards and honors, Dr. Khan was named one of New York Magazine’s Top Doctors in 2013, 2014, and 2015.
