Saad B. Chaudhary, MD, is a board-certified Spine Surgeon at The Mount Sinai Hospital‘s Spine Institute in New York. He specializes in minimally invasive surgery of the spine. Dr. Chaudhary is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and the associate fellowship director for the spinal surgery training program.

Dr. Chaudhary earned his medical degree from the Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA. Simultaneously, he received a Master’s in Business Administration degree from a combined program between Brandeis University, and Northeastern University along with Harvard Business School externships. Following medical school, Dr. Chaudhary completed a general surgery internship at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark, NJ. He also completed an orthopaedic surgery residency at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School where he was selected to become the administrative chief resident. Dr. Chaudhary further advanced his training in complex spinal disorders at the Cleveland Clinic’s Spine Surgery Fellowship program. There he obtained a combined focus on neurosurgical and orthopaedic spine surgery techniques in managing spinal conditions.

Dr. Chaudhary has published more than 25 written works on advancements in orthopaedic and neurosurgical spine surgery. He’s a sought-after speaker at regional and national spine meetings. Additionally, Dr. Chaudhary has received several awards and honors over his career, including being named as a NY and NJ Top Doctor since 2015.
