Dr. G. Alexander Jones is an Assistant Professor of Neurological Surgery at Loyola University Medical Center’s Department of Neurological Surgery in Maywood, IL. He is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery.

After earning his medical degree at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, Dr. Jones went on to complete a surgical internship followed by a neurological surgery residency at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. He then continued his neurosurgery training at the Cleveland Clinic, where he completed a fellowship in complex spine surgery and spine biomechanics, along with a residency in neurological surgery.

Dr. Jones’ clinical specialties include complex spinal disorders, minimally invasive spine surgery, and scoliosis. He has received many honors throughout his medical career, most recently earning the ORMC Excellence in Education Award and being named one of America’s Top Surgeons by the Consumers Research Council.
