About Jason M. Cuéllar, MD, PhD

Dr. Jason M. Cuéllar is an orthopaedic spine surgeon at Lanman Spinal Neurosurgery in Beverly Hills, CA. He is also affiliated with the Cedars-Sinai Spine Center of Excellence. He specializes in minimally invasive spine surgery, artificial disc replacement in both the lumbar and cervical spine, and anti-inflammatory injections.

After completing his doctorate degree in Molecular, Cellular and Integrative Physiology at the University of California, Davis, Dr. Cuéllar earned his medical degree at Stanford University School of Medicine. He went on to complete his orthopaedic surgery training, followed by a musculoskeletal research fellowship, at the Hospital for Joint Diseases at NYU Langone Medical Center.

Dr. Cuéllar finished his medical training with a combined neurosurgical and orthopaedic spine disorders fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Spine Center and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Dr. Cuéllar’s research focus has explored the mechanisms of pain for patients with osteoarthritis and other musculoskeletal diseases. He has published more than 30 peer-reviewed research papers and has had more than 40 abstracts featured at national and international scientific conferences.
