About Scott J. Luhmann, MD
Scott J. Luhmann, MD is an Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Washington University School of Medicine. Dr. Luhmann’s practice is devoted to pediatric spinal surgery with an emphasis on complex reconstructive spinal surgery and treatment of various spinal deformities such as scoliosis.
Dr. Luhmann earned his medical degree at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, MN, after earning his bachelors degree from Gustavus Adolphus College.
His internship and residency were at Washington University School of Medicine in Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Luhmann did two separate fellowships at Washington University: pediatric orthopaedic surgery and pediatric/adult orthopaedic spinal surgery.
Dr. Luhmann is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, and he is an active member of many professional societies, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the Scoliosis Research Society.
