About George Langlitz, III, CCSP

Dr. George Langlitz III is a second-generation Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician. He graduated Dean’s list from New York Chiropractic College in 1995 and Springfield Technical Community College in 1989 and has been recognized by the National Honor Society for Undergraduate Studies.

After working for area Medical and Physical Therapy Clinics, he formed Physicians Plus with his own family of doctors and therapists in his hometown of Springfield, Massachusetts in 1999.

Although he treats a variety of health conditions, he has been involved with the field of chiropractic for over 28 years, starting as a former CA, medical coder and biller. Dr. Langlitz has attended postgraduate studies for a total of more than 700 hours of research, trauma and biomechanics specific training.

He holds advanced certifications in neurology, whiplash and brain injury associated disorders, trauma biomechanics, rehabilitation, impairment evaluation and the treatment of sports injuries. Accepted nationwide he has completed all four National Boards and Physiotherapy examinations.

The author and publisher of his own web site, which has been recognized for its merit and contribution to the body of literature in the field, have earned Dr. Langlitz the ChiroMaster 2004 and ChiroMaster 2000 award, and the ChiroMaster 99 awards. He has written several articles relating to auto accidents and massage that have been published on Spine Universe.

Dr. Langlitz’ creative talents have earned him several awards in art and photography and likewise he maintains membership in the world’s largest costuming organization, marching for charitable events and for fun. Because Dr. Langlitz is passionate about helping others through natural means, he finds it hard to separate that from the fun part.

Doctor Langlitz’ goals are simple, tried and true; to utilize his experience both personal and professional through his embodied commitment to health, fitness, well-being, and recovery of patients through combined therapy and the best medicine—Laughter.
