Daniel K. Resnick, MD, is Professor of Neurological Surgery at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison, Wisconsin. Dr. Resnick specializes in spinal disorders with expertise in minimally invasive spine surgery, spinal tumors and degenerative spinal disorders.

Dr. Resnick received an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Princeton University in Princeton, NJ. He received his Medical Degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Resnick completed his residency in spine at the University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque followed by a neurosurgical residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where he also gained a Masters degree in Neuroscience.

Dr. Resnick is a member of many leading spine societies, including the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS), Congress of Neurosurgeons (CNS), AANS-CNS Section on Disorders of the Spine, and North American Spine Society (NASS). He is past-President of NASS. His research has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at society meetings.
