- Used to relieve moderate to severe pain.
Contraindications
Any of the following may be reason to choose a different drug.
Inform your doctor before starting therapy.
- Hypersensitivity to aspirin, any other salicylate, or oxycodone
- Primary hemostasis, including hemophilia
- Severe liver damage
- Platelet dysfunction
- Peptic ulcer and other serious GI lesions
- Hyperprothrombinemia
- Coagulation disorders
- Severe bleeding
- Von Willebrand's disease
- Severe vitamin K deficiency
- Patients under 18 years with symptoms of chicken pox or the flu
- Current use of anticoagulants
