Oxycodone with Acetaminophen (Percocet, Roxicet, Tylox, Endocet)

Percocet, Roxicet, Tylox, and Endocet are brand names for oxycodone with acetaminophen. This prescription medication combines a narcotic pain reliever and a non-narcotic pain and fever reducing drug (acetaminophen). Acetaminophen increases the effects of oxycodone and elevates the pain threshold, or level of discomfort the patient feels is painful. Oxycodone with acetaminophen is prescribed to treat moderate to moderately severe pain.
