Methotrexate (Rheumatrex)
Rheumatrex is the brand name for methotrexate. Rheumatrex is in a class of medications called antimetabolites. It may be prescribed to treat rheumatoid arthritis when other treatments are ineffective. Methotrexate works by slowing the immune system.
