Meloxicam tablets (Mobic)

Mobic is the brand name for meloxicam tablets. This prescription medication is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It is prescribed to treat mild to moderate pain caused by inflammatory disorders such as juvenile or rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. Although it is not known exactly how Mobic works, it is theorized the drug blocks substances that contribute to inflammation. Mobic treats the symptoms of the above-mentioned disorders, not the disorder itself.
