Hydromorphone (Dilaudid)
Dilaudid is the brand name for hydromorphone. This prescription medication
is a narcotic pain reliever. It is prescribed to treat severe pain in select
patients. Hydromorphone binds to certain nerve receptors in the brain and nervous
system to reduce pain.
