You may experience the following side effects with the use of
this drug:
Common
Symptoms
- Headache
- Dyspepsia (upset stomach)
Less Common to Rare Symptoms
- Skin rash
- Nausea or Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Flatulence (gas)
- Abdominal pain
- Dizziness
- Insomnia
- Abnormal liver function tests
- Upper respiratory tract infections
- Peptic ulcer
- Black stool (may be a sign of gastrointestinal bleeding. Consult your doctor.)
- Edema (accumulation of fluid in the body)
Life-threatening Symptoms
- Anaphylaxis reactions (severe allergic reactions including hives, troubled breathing, swelling of the eyelids or around the eyes)
- Acute kidney failure -- rare
Possible Overdose Symptoms
Symptoms of acute overdose:
- Lethargy
- Drowsiness
- Severe nausea or vomiting
- Severe stomach pain
