You may experience the following side effects with the use of this drug:

Common Symptoms

• Stomach discomfort
• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Diarrhea

Less Common to Rare Symptoms

• Allergic reaction (skin rash, itching or shortness of breath)
• Liver dysfunction
• Antibiotic associated diarrhea
• Change in taste
• Headache
• Thrombocytopenia
• Leukopenia
• Neutropenia

Life-threatening Symptoms

• Severe allergic reaction (shortness of breath or difficulty breathing)

Possible Overdose Symptoms

• Dizziness
• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Diarrhea
• Ringing in the ears
• Hearing loss
