At Southern California Institute of Neurological Surgery, established by Dr. Mark Stern, we are dedicated to the treatment of patients with spinal conditions and injuries requiring spinal surgery. Dr. Stern is a board-certified neurosurgeon. In addition to performing spinal surgery, he also specializes in cranial based or brain surgeries, surgical procedures involving the nervous system, and surgical procedures addressing the treatment of chronic pain management issues. Dr. Stern has practiced in and around the North County San Diego area for the past 19 years and works out of the two major medical facilities found here, those being Tri-City Medical Center and the Palomar Pomerado Health System. He has formerly acted as the Chief for the Department of Neurosurgery at both of these facilities. Above all, we are here to meet the needs of our patients.
