About Our Practice
Doctor Schimpff is a pain medicine fellowship trained physiatrist, specializing in interventional and non-opioid management of sub-acute and chronic pain conditions, predominately of spinal origin. Dr. Schimpff is also Associate Director at the Medical College of Virginia (MCV) Pain Medicine Fellowship.
Doctor Schimpff treats various conditions, such as:
• spinal stenosis
• intervertebral disc herniation

• radiculopathy or a "pinched nerve”
• facet joint arthritis
