About Our Practice
Cecil Huang, M.D., Ph.D., currently serves as Loudoun Interventional Pain Center's Medical Director. He is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in both Anesthesiology and Pain Management. Dr. Huang completed his pain fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital of Harvard Medical School. There, he worked in a high-volume pain practice that serves as a tertiary referral center for the Greater Boston area. Dr. Huang received formal training in pharmacological pain management with opiates and nonopiates, peripheral nerve blocks, epidural blocks, transforaminal blocks, facet blocks, sacroiliac joint blocks, lysis of epidural adhesions, intradiscal procedures, vertebroplasty, spinal cord stimulation, intrathecal drug delivery, radiofrequency ablation, and chemoneurolysis. Dr. Huang is experienced in the management of acute, chronic and terminal pain, including cancer pain.
Dr. Huang joined Loudoun Interventional Pain Center in 2005. Prior to his pain fellowship, he competed his anesthesia residency, also at Harvard's Brigham and Women's Hospital. Dr. Huang earned his M.D. at Stanford University School of Medicine, where he also concurrently earned his Ph.D. degree in Medical Informatics. Dr. Huang earned his undergraduate degree in electrical, computer, and biomedical engineering at Carnegie Mellon University.
