About Our Practice
Andrew Kirsteins MD (K2 Physiatry) is a board certified Physiatrist who evaluates and treats a wide variety of painful spinal conditions such as spondylosis, degenerative disc disease, sciatica, radiculopathy, facet joint arthropathy, sacroiliac pain. He completed his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at Rush Medical Center in Chicago where he served as chief resident. He has practiced in academic, private practice and hospital settings prior to forming K2 Physiatry PA. He performs fluoroscopically guided spinal injections such as epidural injections, facet joint injections, sacroiliac injections, and lumbar radiofrequency neurotomy.
He also treat myofascial pain that occurs in paraspinal muscles after trauma or post surgical pain. The treatment for myofascial pain include trigger point injections, botox injections, and medical electro-acupuncture.
He serve the Piedmont Triad area with offices in both Greensboro and Kernersville.

He performs electrodiagnostic evaluation of numbness,tingling pain, to further evaluate for radiculopathy, and to guide further treatment.
He is a Fellow of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Fellow of Interventional Pain Practice, Diplomate of the American Baoard of Interventional Pain Physicians, Diplomate of the American Board of Interventional Pain Physicians, Diplomate of the American Board of Pain Medicine, Diplomate of the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine.
He is a member of the International Spine Injection Society, the North American Spine Society, and the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
