About Our Practice
Comprehensive neurological and musculoskeletal assessment of spine and extremities with multi-disciplinary approach to management. Offered at clinic are minimally invasive spine injections (Interventional treatment) and diagnostic EMG and NCS (Eectromyography and Nerve conduction studies). CT-Fluro and regular C-Arm fluro guided interventions offered. CAT Scan guided injections carried out at CGH Med. Ctr. CT suite. Open M.R.I. X-Ray and Lab facilities available on-site.
Conditions assessed and treated include neuritis, neuralgia's, neuropathies, carpal tunnel syndrome, myalgia's, myo-fascial pain, joint, ligament & tendon sprains or strains. Cervical: Arthritis (Spondylosis) - Facet pain - Strain ( Whip-lash injury). Extremity overuse and work-related injuries. Lumbar: Spondylosis, strain, facet arthritis, back injury, low-back pain, sciatica, radiculopathy, pinched nerves, sacroiliac arthritis and piriformis syndrome. Non-vascular pain of head & neck, thoracic spine pain, spondylosis, compression fractures and other painful conditions.
Conditions not usually managed include abdominal, pelvic or groin pain of visceral etiology. Also not followed-up are patients seeking drug detox or exclusive medication refills and prescriptions for opiates (Narcotics).
Patient's acceptance and compliance with comprehensive treatment plan with incorporation of regular physical activity, exercises and aerobic conditioning with nutritional and life-style modification as required is important.
