Dr. O'Brien is board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery since 1996 and board ceritified in Spine Surgery by the American Board of Spine Surgery since 1999. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency in 1994 at the Catholic Medical Center of Brooklyn and Queens (a Cornell Medical School affiliate) and his spine surgery training in 1995 at the Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia.
