Dr. Christopher M. Zarro MD completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Maryland Medical System and R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, Maryland. While in residency he gained extensive experience in the treatment of traumatic spinal disorders at Shock Trauma and pediatric spinal deformity at the Johns Hopkins University Hospital. Following residency, Dr Zarro completed specialized training in Spine Surgery at New York University Medical Center/ Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York, New York. While in his fellowship, he treated complex adult and pediatric spinal deformity, as well as cervical and lumbar degenerative conditions using minimally invasive techniques and disc arthroplasty. Dr. Zarro has received many awards and honors and is a member of the AOA medical honor society. He has numerous publications in the spine literature.
