About Our Practice
I believe in conservative management as the first-line treatment for degenerative diseases, minimally invasive treatments where possible for degenerative conditions that have failed to improve with nonsurgical treatments or for cancer that has spread to the spine, but aggressive surgical treatments for potentially curable malignant diseases. I am an innovator in the field of minimally invasive surgery, as well as in the treatment of complex spinal disorders. I treat spinal deformities, spinal trauma, and other forms of spinal disorders with the least invasive methods that achieve the most effective results. We routinely use the most advanced forms of spinal monitoring available as the patient's safety and outcome are the most important things to my entire practice. I work with the best specialists in various fields to make sure my patients have the best possible outcomes, including working closely with orthopedic surgeons, plastic surgeons, ENT surgeons, vascular surgeons, or other medical or surgical specialists as the case may require. I will build the team to manage even the most complex spinal conditions, and our international office can help facilitate your stay from outside the US. My office team will work with you to facilitate and ease your preparations for surgery. I am the neurosurgeon on-call for all New York Jets home games, one of the 6 US neurosurgeons selected to work with the NFL Retired Players Program, as well as an NYPD honorary police surgeon. This is the practice the professionals have chosen to work with, and we bring this same level of precision to every patient in the practice. I treat every patient the way I would have one of my family treated. My past patients are my best advertising, check my online ratings or ask to speak with one of my other patients to find out for yourself.
