About Our Practice
Dr. Todd Stewart is Assistant Professor of Neurological and Orthopaedic Surgery at Washington University. Dr. Stewart performed his Neurosurgical Training at Washington University in Saint Louis and then went on to a combined Orthopaedic and Neurosurgical Spine Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
After completing his fellowship, Dr. Stewart returned to Washington University and now holds appointments at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and St. Louis Children's Hospital. His practice includes all aspects of spinal surgery, however he has particular interests in lumbar spondylolisthesis, degenerative lumbar disease and cervical spinal disorders. Dr. Stewart's interests in cervical spinal disorders include kyphosis, myelopathy, radiculopathy, stenosis, herniated discs, occipito-cervical and atlanto-axial disorders.
Dr. Stewart's research interests include stem cell treatment of spinal cord injury and 3d computer modeling of the spine as an educational tool for patients, doctors, and nursing staff.
