Occasionally, participants at a spine-related CME meeting realize that they have been part of a truly exceptional and memorable meeting. The symposium, Pediatric Spinal Deformity: On the Cutting Edge, held in Miami, FL in April 2007, was one such meeting.

The outstanding international faculty of "forefathers" and emerging leaders in the field presented a remarkable two days of lectures, debates and discussions. Many sessions ran over as the participants enthusiastically discussed the complexities of pediatric spinal deformity long after the sessions were scheduled to end.
