Fulvicin P/G: Instructions

Griseofulvin Ultramicrosize  [Oral] Fulvicin P/G Dosage and Administration Dosages may require modification to adjust for individual sensitivities and associated medical conditions. Adults Under 60 330-660 mg per day, taken by mouth as a single dose once per day or in divided doses with or immediately after fatty meals. 660-775 mg per day have been used for infections more difficult to eradicate. Adults 60 and Over Reduced dosage may be necessary. Consult your physician. Infants and Children Children under 2 years: dosage not established. Children over 2 years: 5.5-7.3 mg/kg per day taken by mouth as a single dose once per day or in divided doses with or immediately after fatty meals. Maximum Dosage Recommendations Adults: do not exceed the recommended dose. Usual Duration of Use The length of therapy varies depending on the condition being treated, from several weeks up to 6 months. If You Miss a Dose Take as soon as possible. If close to the next dose, skip and take the next dose. Do not double the dose. Storage Keep all medications out of the reach of children Store in a tightly closed container at room temperature in a dry, dark place.
