Direct Lateral Transpsoas Lumbar Interbody Fusion: 38 Cases
From February 2001 through December 2006 the direct lateral lumbar approach
was used to address anterior and middle column pathology of the lumbar spine.
A total of thirty-eight cases involving fifty-eight motion segments (21 single
level, 14 two level, 3 three level) were performed (Table 1).
