The professional staff members of NSS Brain and Spine Center are compassionate, supportive allies for every patient who reaches out to them. We have great respect for the risk factors involved in any surgical procedure." Dr. Sharma is a board eligible neurosurgeon who completed his internship and residency at the prestigious Georgetown University Hospital. As the Chief Neurosurgical Resident at Georgetown, Dr. Sharma was at the helm of one of the busiest neurosurgery services in the nation.
Dr. Sharma graduated summa cum laude in biology from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1997, and received his medical degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine in 2001 with the Dean's commendation for academic achievement.
Dr. Sharma has been in private practice with James W. Melisi, MD for two years with office locations in Haymarket, Manassas and Reston, Virginia
Dr. Sharma has published articles nationally and internationally.
