I am ACGME fellowship trained in pediatric orthopaedics with a very strong component of pediatric & adolescent spine surgery, as well as additional post-graduate training in adult spine surgery from two of the best-known spine centers in North America. My practice focus is on progressively minimally invasive techniques for lumbar and thoracic spine surgery. I attend several international meetings per year, as well as consistent participation in hands-on cadaveric labs to constantly further my skills and the development of new techniques to advance the field of minimally invasive spinal surgery. I am fortunate to have been appointed a clinical examiner for both parts 2 (oral examiner) and part 3 (site visit / records review / surgical observation) for the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery, which allows me to consistently visit, evaluate, and discuss patient treatments with candidates for board certification with the AOBOS across the United States.
