About Our Practice:
As many in health care have come to learn, there has been a movement among a large multi-disciplined group of physicians to form an integrated, comprehensive Spine Center of Excellence in the Mississippi market. After several years of development, that vision has come to fruition through the creation of NewSouth NeuroSpine. In a merging of numerous practices representing four specialties, 12 core physicians have come together with a single vision. In an atmosphere of creativity, NewSouth NeuroSpine has developed a strategic plan that will deliver high-quality prompt services that meet the growing diverse choices of our patient population; provide referring physicians the specialist care they expect; and address the needs of third party payers. Under one roof, patients will be able to, for the first time in our regional market, receive comprehensive, integrated care in the fullest meaning of the often-overused description.Patients are demanding choice when addressing complex health care needs. They are seeking alternative care models. Traditional medicine with single specialty practices has frequently not been able to meet these growing voices. NewSouth NeuroSpine’s model delivers more choice and integrates the services so that duplicative services are reduced, care plans are optimized, patient satisfaction improves, and compliance increases. Whether diagnostic services, physical medicine, therapy, interventional pain management, or surgery, the team of providers is poised to meet the demands of the marketplace. While we always consider our patient the number one client, we recognize that we serve many other “clients”: from referring physician and hospital systems to Workers Compensation Commission, governmental agencies, and third party insurance payers. Our strategic vision has been tailored to optimize care in a cost effective and affordable environment without sacrificing high quality.
In a program of total quality management, NewSouth NeuroSpine will implement an objective outcomes measurement program. The software chosen as the foundation of the program is the same as leading international health care providers. Using a web-based interface, patients will be tracked over time and their outcomes analyzed in a way that provides real-time feedback for providers, opening the door to objective interdisciplinary review teams to develop the most efficient and effective treatment plans.
While NewSouth NeuroSpine understands its position in the market as the largest single private practice provider of spine care in the state, it also recognizes its obligation to the health care community. Whether it’s accepting fellows for training opportunities, participation in clinical research, or leading a community outreach education program, the providers of NewSouth NeuroSpine are committed to the vision in a way that few centers have been able to deliver.
With a new 60,000 square foot custom facility rising from a 20-acre campus in Flowood, Mississippi, NewSouth NeuroSpine is accepting patients to their Comprehensive Spine Center of Excellence.
