About Our Practice:
Gateway Spine & Pain Physicians, LLC was formed with a strong commitment to the quickly developing area of Bolingbrook, Illinois. The practice believes in providing immediate care and full time availability to patients and referring physicians within this community. Dr. Daniel Cha is a board certified anesthesiologist with fellowship training in Pain Medicine. In addition to his role within this multidisciplinary pain practice, he is part of the academic faculty at the University of Illinois at Chicago Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. His interest is in taking a multidisciplinary-team approach to patients and their pain. His training and experience have helped him to diagnose and treat patients with complicated pain histories, and to work closely with other specialists to provide the best care for them. His interests include minimally invasive procedures for spine related pain disorders, as well as medication management for generalized pain disorders. He focuses on spinal disc degeneration, disc herniations, facet joint disease, headache pain, chronic regional pain syndrome, and other chronic pain syndromes. Advanced procedures available through this practice include epidural steroid injection, selective nerve root blocks, sympathetic blocks, facet blockade, dorsal column stimulation (spinal cord stimulators), intrathecal morphine pump delivery systems, and percutaneous disc decompression.
