About Our Practice:
Holistic non invasive spine treatment including nerve block intervention, medication and pharmacological management of pain, physiotherapy, rehabilitation exercises, Intradisc Spine Stabilization and botox injections for spine and fibromyalgia pain management.Evaluations also include detailed personalized history,record review examation, state of the art imaging studies including 3-D reconstruction imaging and EMG/NCV evaluations.
Patient are also treated who fail conservative measures or fail spine surgerical intervention.
Treatment goals include restoration and rehabilitation of function as well as improved mood with improved functional physical gains. You do not have to live in pain.
Conditions treatment include, but are not limited to:

Failed spine surgery
Spasticity-Intractable
Impaired neuro-biological pain response
Spine disc herniation
Surgical referral if indicated including spine reconstruction surgeries or placement of spinal cord simulation and implantation of intrathecal pump for pain and / or spasticity management
Surgical intervention multisciplinary HOAG Hospital based group referrals include minimally invasive spine surgery, disc replacement procedures, kyphoplasty (for fracture management), nerve root decompresion, spinal disc reconstruction, gama knife therapy, and if necessary spine reconstruction with instrumentation.
If necessary, patients who have become addicted with high dose pain killer medication may also choose to enter inpatient or outpatient detoxification programs through the HOAG Chemical Dependency unit. Often times these patient's have dual diagnosis, that is, there is chemical dependency as well as intractable pain. If necessary our pain physsician coordinates care in a holistic approach with inpatient and outpatient detoxification therapy to assure success in recovery without fears of returning to uncontrollable and intractable pain.
