About Our Practice:
My practice is unique as I specialize in the care of children with spinal disorders up to age 21 years. I emphasize the importance of children continuing to grow, and of participating as much as possible in normal activities despite a spinal problem. We are the only center in California offering VEPTR (verticle expandable prosthetic titanium rib) for the treatment of thoracic insufficiency, and have extensive experience in the use of growing rods in young children. Children with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis, congenital scoliosis, kyphosis, spondylolisthesis and spondylolysis routinely come from other states and countries for consultation and treatment, and my staff will be able to assist you with this.
