About Our Practice:
Dr. Maria Guglielmo is a board-certified general neurosurgeon with special interests in minimally invasive spine surgery and intracranial surgery. She is a Rhode Island native with a Bachelor of Science from Yale University and an MD from Brown Medical School. She completed her neurosurgical residency in the Brown Program in Neurosurgery and worked as a Senior Physician at Kaiser Permanente in Portland, Oregon and at Upper Valley Neurology and Neurosurgery in Hanover, New Hampshire before returning home to Rhode Island. She is currently Medical Director of Neurosurgery at Kent Hospital and belongs to numerous medical associations, including the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Rhode Island Medical Association.
